Data About No One, Used by Everyone
Because Media Happens Everywhere.
These words are displayed prominently on our home page. But as media happens everywhere, so does metadata. As illustrated in our Metadata Everywhere series, there are lots of ways metadata is used by Signiant to help more than 50,000 companies move files. But metadata can be extremely valuable and often confidential. So how does Signiant use the data collected during millions of file transfers? How is your data being used?
Customer-specific data provided by Signiant software is confidential to each customer, and Signiant takes privacy and security very seriously. Customer-specific information is never exposed beyond users explicitly authorized by the customer.
Anonymized data is another story, and this information helps Signiant improve services, prioritize new features, and understand media industry dynamics. In the next installment of our Metadata Everywhere series, “The Story About Everyone, By No One,” we examine the benefits of anonymized data analysis that can only be realized via a multi-tenant SaaS architecture like Signiant’s and answer some questions about the data, including:
-
What is anonymized data?
-
How and why does Signiant collect and use data?
-
What does this information tell us, and more importantly, how does it pave the way to an unimaginable and powerful future for all of us?
Anonymized data helps Signiant serve customers by optimizing the software in real-time for better performance and experiences. Read more about how anonymized data enables continuous optimization and increased ability to produce better content at a lower cost.
