Signiant Inc. and TMT Insights today announced a strategic partnership aimed at helping media and entertainment companies of all sizes optimize their content supply chains.

Media2Cloud customers can take advantage of Signiant’s SaaS products to transfer content directly into Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) with speed, reliability, and security and once the content is in the Amazon S3 bucket, Media2Cloud begins the content analysis and post-processing.

Media Shuttle and Vantage play a significant role in today’s media technology stack. Now, Telestream Vantage and Media Shuttle customers can realize increased efficiency, faster content transfer, and more automated file distribution with a new partner integration.

TMD has utilized Signiant APIs to integrate Mediaflex-UMS with two of our large file transfer solutions: Manager+Agents for automated enterprise system-to-system file transfers and Media Shuttle for easy person-initiated transfers.

Signiant and Pixit Media have collaborated to create an integration of Pixit’s PixStor rapid search with intelligent and accelerated file transfer using Signiant’s Media Shuttle.

Sohonet Hub enables Sohonet’s customers to network with each other more effectively and take full advantage of their membership in the world’s largest private media and entertainment network, whose members include the biggest names in TV, film and advertising. The addition of Sohonet FileRunner, the media transfer capability based on Signiant Media Shuttle, represents the next phase of development for the Sohonet Hub, which will also include a portal to Sohonet’s storage and render offerings, graphs and metrics on bandwidth usage and performance and access to Sohonet’s 24/7 support ticketing system.
